Houston Texans

Business Intelligence Intern
- Support the efforts of the Business Analytics and Technology Department while delivering analytical and database management support to key business units throughout the Houston Texans organization and Lone Star Sports and Entertainment

Student Director of Analytics
- Serve as the main point of contact for analytical hypothesis and projects requested by the coaching staff, including both positional coaches and coordinators, aimed to improve the outcomes of games and improve on current weaknesses
- Consult with coaching staff about certain analytical processes, including key 4th down and clock management decisions
- Mentor and lead a team of nine students in the Rice Football Analytics department
Scouting/Recruiting Analyst
- Scout countless high school football players and college players in the transfer portal in hopes of recruiting them to Rice University.
- Work game days to help recruit visiting high school players.

Football Division Analytics Coordinator
- Highlight the strengths and weaknesses of numerous first-round prospects for them to improve on and market to teams in the draft process
- Design graphics showing metrics and analytics as requested by potential clients, their families, and the agents

Head Student Manager
- Serve as the point of contact with coaches and oversee two other managers in several duties including:
  - Setting up, assisting with, and taking down practices
  - Managing the equipment department
  - Managing scoreboards
  - Tracking pitches and pitch velocity with radar guns
  - Handling laundry and other tasks as needed
- Hired during first semester to work as student manager and earned promotion to head student manager during winter break of first year
Member of the Rice Baseball Analytics Team
- Record data of both pitchers and batters through videography using TrackMan and Synergy and create spreadsheets to analyze to provide data to help enhance player development and improve outcomes
- Create individualized presentations for each pitcher at request of pitching coach using heat maps, slow motion capture videos, pitch selection, spin rate and velocity for each pitch in pitcher’s repertoire
